Biography

Dr SanYuMay Tun is a Research Fellow of Green Templeton College and the Lead for Education for Sustainable Healthcare in the Medical Sciences Division, University of Oxford. She has a background in medicine as a former general practitioner, and also in environmental science and policy, and medical education.

SanYuMay Tun has an international presence in bringing Planetary Health and sustainable healthcare into core health professions training. She also led the development of the first ESH curriculum to be endorsed by any national medical educational bodies – Education for Sustainable Healthcare – A curriculum for the UK.

SanYuMay is interested in best practice for implementing education in planetary health and sustainable healthcare – through faculty development, in undergraduate and postgraduate training, and in continuing professional practice.
